2009/2010 ISU Grand Prix |
The 2009–2010 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating is a series of six international invitational competitions in the fall of 2009 that will build to the Grand Prix Final. Skaters will compete in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies singles, pair skating, and ice dancing on the senior level. At each event, skaters will earn points towards qualifying for the Grand Prix Final. The amount of points will be based on their placement. The top six scoring skaters or teams at the end of the series will compete at the 2009–2010 Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final, held in Tokyo, Japan.
This is an important series of events because participation and results are a foctor in selection for the 2010 Olympic Winter Games. |
