Ladies - Alissa Czisny won her first U.S. ladies title Saturday night at the 2009 AT&T U.S. Figure Skating Championships in Cleveland, Ohio. Rachael Flatt captured the silver, and Caroline Zhang took the bronze. Earlier in the day, Meryl Davis and Charlie White earned the gold medal in ice dancing, while Keauna McLaughlin and Rockne Brubaker won their second consecutive pairs championship.
Mens - Jeremy Abbott won his first national title at the AT&T U.S. Figure Skating Championships Sunday. Three-time defending champion Johnny Weir faltered finished a disappointing fifth place.
Abbott finished with 241.89 points, more than 13 points ahead of second-place finisher and training partner Brandon Mroz. Two-time defending champ Evan Lysacek was third.
Pairs - Upstarts Caydee Denney and Jeremy Barrett from Florida stole the show, but Keauna McLaughlin and Rockne Brubaker managed to win the gold, their second straight U.S. pair national title.
