The purpose of this test is to encourage beginning dancers to learn the fundamentals of ice dancing. No great degree of technical ability, expression, carriage, unison, or flow is expected. The candidate must show knowledge of the steps, fairly good edges, ability to keep in time with the music and some evidence of good form.
